We pulled a tired old pressure pump out of this pump house and set a new DAB Esybox Mini 3 in its place — a variable-speed booster that holds steady pressure and reports to your phone over WiFi. Here's the job in pictures.
Every pump house tells a story. This one had done its years — an old pressure setup that had earned its retirement. The job: pull it clean, set a modern variable-speed booster, and leave the owner with water they can watch from their phone.
First the old rig comes out — the pressure tank, the pump, and the worn fittings that had been holding the pressure together. Here's what came out of the corner of the pump house.
In its place: a DAB Esybox Mini 3, set in the far corner of the pump house and plumbed in clean. It's an all-in-one variable-speed booster — pump, motor, electronics and a small tank in one quiet unit — that holds a steady pressure instead of banging on and off.
The heart of how it holds pressure is up top. A close look at the regulator/controls inside the top of the pump —
The best part isn't visible in any photo: the new pump connects to WiFi. The owner can see live water pressure, get an alert if anything goes wrong, and set the pressure from the couch. We wrote a plain-English guide to running it:
Read the pump house manual — everyday operation, WiFi setup with the DAB Live app, setting your pressure, and what every alert means.
